Hong Kong, 24 August 2026 – Fast-fashion e-commerce giant Shein will pay up to $3.5 billion in cash and bonus shares to selected late-stage pre-IPO investors, roughly double the fresh capital it seeks to raise in its upcoming Hong Kong initial public offering, according to official prospectus filings released on Monday.

Eligible institutional backers include entities associated with Boyu Capital, Tiger Global, General Atlantic, Thrive Capital, Mubadala Investment Company, Brookfield, Coatue, D1 Capital, and Sanabil Private Equity.
