Empire Premium Food Posts RM84.7 Million Q1 Revenue as Outlet Expansion Drives Normalised Net Profit to RM12.5 Million

Kuala Lumpur, 21 August 2026 – Empire Premium Food Berhad, the owner-operator of Malaysia’s largest sushi chain Empire Sushi, has commenced its 2027 financial year on a strong trajectory, reporting a 5.5 percent sequential rise in first-quarter revenue to RM84.7 million, underpinned by new outlet openings and resilient consumer demand.

For the first quarter ended 30 June 2026 (Q1 FY2027), the group’s revenue expanded from RM80.3 million in the preceding quarter. The top-line momentum was driven by robust same-store sales performance across its nationwide network, the post-Ramadan normalization of retail footfall, increased customer spending during the mid-year school holidays, and initial revenue contributions from eight new outlets commissioned during the period.
