Kuala Lumpur, 17 August 2026 – Gaming and luxury automotive retail conglomerate Sports Toto Berhad posted a 33.7 percent year-on-year increase in profit before tax to RM96.6 million for the fourth quarter ended 30 June 2026 (Q4 FY2026), supported by operating cost discipline at its lottery division and reduced investment expenses.

Group revenue for the fourth quarter contracted 4.9 percent year-on-year to RM1.55 billion compared to RM1.63 billion recorded in the corresponding period of the previous financial year. The softer top-line turnover was primarily attributable to moderation across both its domestic gaming subsidiary, STM Lottery Sdn. Bhd., and its United Kingdom-based luxury automotive retail franchise, H.R. Owen Plc. Despite the revenue decline, pre-tax profitability advanced significantly from RM72.3 million in Q4 FY2025, driven by margin improvements in the gaming segment and lower quarterly overheads.
