99 Holdings Net Profit Rises 21.8% to RM352.5 Million in 1H FY2026 on Store Expansion and Efficiency Gains

Selangor, 17 August 2026 – Malaysia’s leading mini-market retailer 99 Speed Mart Retail Holdings Berhad posted a 21.8 percent year-on-year increase in profit after tax to RM352.5 million for the first half ended 30 June 2026 (1H FY2026), driven by aggressive store network expansion, earlier daily operating hours, and operational cost savings generated from green energy initiatives.

For the cumulative six-month period, group revenue expanded 15.5 percent year-on-year to RM6.14 billion compared to the previous corresponding period, while profit before tax grew 20.8 percent to RM466.8 million. The retailer’s dedicated bulk sales e-commerce channel, 99 Bulksales, demonstrated rapid commercial adoption among business and consumer buyers, surging 80.5 percent year-on-year to generate RM50.2 million in revenue over the first half of the financial year.
