Shah Alam, 13 August 2026 – Pharmaceutical group Pharmaniaga Berhad posted a sharp earnings recovery for the second quarter ended 30 June 2026 (Q2 FY2026), with net profit more than tripling to RM13.0 million, supported by increased government hospital orders, stronger private sector demand, and reduced debt servicing costs.
Group revenue for Q2 FY2026 rose 12.3 percent year-on-year to RM1.04 billion from RM926.9 million in the corresponding quarter last year. For the cumulative six-month period (1H FY2026), Pharmaniaga recorded total revenue of RM2.22 billion, up 12.0 percent from RM1.98 billion, while profit after tax expanded 31.2 percent to RM45.2 million compared to RM34.5 million in 1H FY2025.
