Ireka Appoints Anas Nasrun as New Chief Financial Officer

KUALA LUMPUR: Ireka Corporation Berhad has appointed Encik Anas Nasrun bin Mohd Osman as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO), effective today.

Anas, 51, brings with him more than two decades of experience in financial management, corporate strategy, and governance across leading Malaysian and international corporations. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW), a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA), and holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Accounting & Financial Analysis from the University of Warwick, UK.

Extensive Leadership in Finance

Prior to joining Ireka, Anas held senior leadership roles, including:

  • Director, Senior General Manager & General Manager at UMW (2013 – 2025)
  • Chief Financial Officer at UMW Dongshin Motech Pvt. Ltd., India (2011 – 2012)
  • Assistant General Manager – Finance at UMW (2010 – 2011)
  • Finance Manager at Petronas Carigali Sdn Bhd (2000 – 2010)
  • Finance Manager at Padiberas Nasional Berhad (BERNAS) (2002 – 2003)
  • Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young (1997 – 2002)

His career spans multiple sectors, including industrial, energy, and agribusiness, equipping him with broad expertise to strengthen Ireka’s financial discipline and strategic outlook.

Ireka highlighted that Anas’ appointment reflects its commitment to enhancing governance, financial oversight, and shareholder value creation.

He will play a key role in shaping financial strategies, capital management, and investor relations, supporting Ireka’s ongoing transformation and growth initiatives.
