Kuala Lumpur, 19 July 2026 – Bursa Malaysia may experience profit-taking in the coming week after its recent strong performance, although supportive domestic economic data and continued interest in selected blue-chip counters could help limit any significant decline.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI ended the previous week around the 1,731-point level, supported by buying across banking, utilities, telecommunications and selected commodity-related stocks.
