Melbourne, 10 July 2026 – ANZ Group has secured an expanded banking licence that will allow the Australian lender to deepen its European operations, strengthening its ability to serve institutional clients across one of the world’s largest financial markets.
The expanded licence gives ANZ greater flexibility to provide banking services in Europe, supporting its strategy to grow institutional banking outside its home markets of Australia and New Zealand.
