NEW YORK, 15 June 2026 — Media giant Fox Corporation has agreed to acquire streaming platform operator Roku Inc. in a cash-and-stock transaction valued at approximately US$22 billion, marking Fox’s biggest strategic move yet to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving streaming landscape.
The acquisition will give Fox direct access to more than 100 million households using Roku’s platform, significantly expanding the company’s digital reach as consumers continue shifting away from traditional cable television.
