Kuala Lumpur, 29 October 2026 – Zetrix AI Berhad said its wholly owned subsidiary MY EG Sdn Bhd has received additional income-tax assessments totalling RM353.13 million for the years of assessment 2021, 2022 and 2023. The amount includes RM333.11 million linked to transfer pricing and RM20.02 million in deemed interest, while the Government of Malaysia has filed a civil suit over the matter.

For Asian investors, the disclosure adds a material legal and balance-sheet issue to the group’s existing government-services exposure. The tax assessment is a claim, not a final court finding, and MYEG has said it will defend its position while appealing to the Special Commissioners of Income Tax. The confirmed amount nevertheless raises questions about provisioning, cash requirements and the financial consequences of a prolonged dispute.
