Petaling Jaya, 24 September 2026 – Analysts expect Top Glove’s fourth-quarter financial 2026 earnings to improve, but the figures in the latest market commentary are forecasts rather than a released quarterly result. Phillip Capital projected net profit of RM95 million to RM100 million, compared with RM89 million in the preceding quarter and RM31 million a year earlier. The company’s eventual filing will determine whether that improvement materialises and how much of it reflects durable operating progress.
The projected rise rests partly on modest volume and pricing gains. The analyst estimated sales volume could increase about 2% quarter on quarter and average selling prices about 1%. Factory utilisation was expected to be around 82%, compared with 81% previously. Small changes in each measure can have an outsized effect on profit when fixed production costs are spread across a large number of gloves, but they can also reverse if orders soften.
