San Jose, 10 June 2026 – Super Micro Computer is planning to raise about US$7 billion through equity and equity-linked financing, underscoring how the global artificial-intelligence infrastructure boom is pushing server makers to secure capital, components and production capacity at speed.
The company said the proceeds will be used mainly to purchase components needed for advanced AI servers, as demand from cloud, enterprise and AI customers continues to accelerate. Super Micro said it has about US$39 billion in existing orders from more than 20 customers, highlighting the scale of infrastructure spending now flowing through the AI supply chain.
