The broad-based S&P 500 Index touched an all-time intraday record high of 7,816.70 points before setting a fresh closing record at 7,798.99 points, representing a 0.65 percent gain on the session. The tech-heavy Nasdaq Composite Index advanced 0.60 percent to conclude at 26,588.49 points, driven by momentum across semiconductor and artificial intelligence infrastructure counters. Meanwhile, the blue-chip Dow Jones Industrial Average added 69.72 points, or 0.13 percent, to close at 53,839.99 points, reversing earlier losses caused by consumer stock weakness.
