Singapore, 3 November 2026 – Singapore’s Straits Times Index (STI) recorded a negative total return of 5.2% in October, while the FTSE ST All-Share Technology Index fell 17.3%, according to Singapore Exchange Limited’s monthly review. The iEdge S-REIT Index declined by a smaller 1.4%, showing that the correction was broad but sharply different across sectors.

REITs were relatively more resilient, not uniformly profitable for the month, while several technology companies retained large gains over the first ten months despite steep October losses. The review describes past performance; it does not establish which sector will lead next.
