Selangor Unveils RS-2 Blueprint Targeting RM600 Billion Economy and RM330 Billion Investment Drive

Shah Alam, 8 August 2026 – Selangor has formally launched the Second Selangor Plan (RS-2) covering the 2026 to 2030 development cycle, setting an ambitious target to expand the state’s economic output beyond RM600 billion by the end of the decade. Tabled at the state legislative assembly by Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, the comprehensive five-year blueprint establishes a strategic roadmap to accelerate high-value industrial development, expand digital infrastructure, and elevate household income levels across Malaysia’s primary economic engine.
