KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8, 2025 — Insurance heavyweight Prudential Assurance Malaysia Bhd (PAMB) has appointed Kelvin Ang as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of its life insurance business in Malaysia.
Ang brings more than 26 years of leadership experience across Southeast Asia and China, having held senior roles in Indonesia, Vietnam, China, Hong Kong, and Malaysia. Most recently, he served as President and CEO of AIA Philippines, where he orchestrated a comprehensive business and cultural transformation. His track record includes successful agency integrations in Malaysia and expansion initiatives in Hong Kong, China, and Vietnam, with a strong emphasis on digitisation.
Reporting directly to John Cai, Regional CEO for Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam, Ang will oversee the development and execution of PAMB’s life agency strategy.
