San Francisco, 7 July 2026 – Perplexity AI plans to use Nvidia’s new central processing unit as the artificial intelligence search company scales computing capacity to support growing demand for AI-powered answers, browsing and agentic search tools.
The move highlights how AI infrastructure demand is expanding beyond graphics processing units alone.
