Beijing, 15 October 2026 – Apple is preparing to introduce its first Apple Intelligence features in mainland China in December, marking an important step in its effort to narrow the artificial intelligence gap with local smartphone rivals in one of its most important markets.

The planned rollout is expected to arrive with iOS 27.3, although it will be more limited than the Apple Intelligence experience available in other regions.
