Novo Nordisk Launches “Sayang, Kan?” Campaign to Shift Malaysia’s Obesity Conversation

Kuala Lumpur, 11 June 2026 – Novo Nordisk Malaysia has launched Sayang, Kan?, a nationwide public awareness campaign aimed at encouraging Malaysians to speak about obesity with greater compassion, medical understanding and dignity.

The campaign comes at a time when more than half of Malaysian adults are living with overweight or obesity, making it one of the country’s most urgent public-health challenges. Built around a phrase familiar to many Malaysians, Sayang, Kan? asks a simple question: if we truly care, are we choosing care?
