Menlo Park, 7 July 2026 – Meta Platforms has launched a new artificial intelligence image-generation model inside its chatbot and Instagram, strengthening its push to make generative AI a more central part of daily social media use.
The new model, known as Muse Image, was developed by Meta Superintelligence Labs and is designed to help users create and edit images directly through Meta AI. It will be integrated across Meta’s consumer platforms, including Instagram, where visual creation remains central to user engagement.
