KUALA LUMPUR, 23 September 2025 — M+ Global, Malaysia’s leading all-in-one stock trading platform under Malacca Securities, has launched the nation’s first stockbroking concept store at KL Eco City, bringing financial education and retail stockbroking services together in a premium, physical space designed to make investing more approachable for Malaysians.
The store’s unveiling reflects M+ Global’s brand promise of “Less Guessing, More Guiding,” emphasising financial literacy and empowerment through direct access to over 200 licensed investment experts. At its core, the concept store aims to bridge Malaysia’s persistent financial literacy gap by providing a hands-on, interactive environment where visitors can engage in personal consultations, attend workshops, and participate in learning activities that demystify the world of investing.
A New Chapter in Financial Education
The launch was attended by representatives from Bursa Malaysia and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC). The opening also featured a tele-appearance by Malaysian badminton sensation Toh Ee Wei, who was announced as M+ Global’s first brand ambassador. Toh, fresh off her historic victory as part of Malaysia’s first-ever mixed doubles gold medal pair at the 2025 World Championships in Paris, now lends her influence to promote financial literacy among younger Malaysians.
Within the store, visitors will find an investment learning hub, a product experience zone, a merchandise corner, and even an interactive photo booth experience dubbed “Snap It.” More than a retail space, the concept store is positioned as a hub for community building, with free educational workshops, seminars, and talks led by seasoned industry experts and financial influencers.
Addressing Malaysia’s Financial Literacy Gap
Despite steady improvements in the Malaysia Financial Literacy and Capability (MyFLIC) Index, rising from 57.1 in 2018 to 59.1 in 2024, surveys indicate troubling gaps remain. A Bank Negara Malaysia study found that 61% of Malaysians struggle to raise RM1,000 in an emergency, and over a quarter feel overburdened by debt from personal loans and credit obligations.
M+ Global aims to respond to these challenges by making financial education not only accessible but engaging. Upcoming sessions at the store will include appearances by content creators like BBK Network, known for breaking down money matters into relatable advice, and Financial Faiz, who focuses on practical wealth-building strategies. A special guest speaker is scheduled for January 2026, underscoring the store’s ongoing commitment to education.
Humanising Digital Finance
Leveraging Malacca Securities’ 60-year legacy in stockbroking, M+ Global seeks to merge digital convenience with personalised financial guidance. The concept store offers private consultations with licensed experts to address individual investing goals, while its learning hub integrates technology with face-to-face coaching.
Managing Director Lim Chia Wei said the store exemplifies M+ Global’s mission: “We want to help Malaysians move beyond just saving towards actively growing their wealth through education, expert guidance, and sound investment strategies. This is about empowering Malaysians to take control of their financial future with confidence.”
Launch Promotions
To celebrate its debut, M+ Global is offering launch-week promotions including free coffee for social media engagements, gashapon draws for Google reviews, and exclusive Teh Tarik Mau figurines for the first 50 new app sign-ups.
The company sees the store as the beginning of a long-term journey to “humanise” digital finance, aligning its mission with broader national goals of building financially resilient households and supporting Malaysia’s evolving capital market ecosystem.
