Petaling Jaya, 7 September 2026 – Kerjaya Prospek Group Bhd has strengthened its earnings visibility after securing an RM858 million contract for mechanical, electrical and plumbing works at a data-centre development in Iskandar Puteri, Johor. The award is the construction group’s first direct contract in this specialised segment and raises its outstanding order book to a record RM5.9 billion.

The contract was secured through wholly owned Kerjaya Prospek (M) Sdn Bhd and is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Completion is expected within eight months, creating a concentrated execution period across the second half of the current financial year and the first half of financial year 2027. That short timetable could accelerate revenue recognition, but it also places a premium on procurement, labour coordination and timely delivery.
