Kuala Lumpur, 29 September 2026 – Kelington Group Berhad has secured a contract worth approximately RM172 million for early-stage engineering and infrastructure at an advanced data-storage manufacturing facility in Kuching, extending its role in a Sarawak project that has already generated earlier awards. The contract was won through wholly owned Kelington Technologies Sdn. Bhd. from a manufacturer operating in the Sama Jaya Free Industrial Zone.

The latest scope covers site development, foundation systems and critical high-voltage power infrastructure. Work is expected to begin immediately and finish by August 2027. These are enabling works: they prepare a complex manufacturing site for later stages rather than representing a completed plant. Their timing should give investors a clearer window over revenue recognition, while also exposing the company to the usual construction risks of labour, materials and schedule coordination.
