Inta Bina Adds RM221 Million Klang Building Contract as Backlog Figures Diverge

Klang, 28 September 2026 – Inta Bina Group has secured a RM221.08 million contract from Prisma Melody for the main building works of Gravit8 Phase 4, known as Novva, at Kota Bayuemas in Klang. Prisma Melody is a wholly owned unit of Mitraland Holding. The award adds a sizeable residential-and-office project to Inta Bina’s construction pipeline, with work scheduled to begin on 28 September. For investors, the contract is a forward workload commitment rather than RM221.08 million of revenue or profit booked on the award date.

The project will be delivered in stages, with published contract details pointing to completion milestones in 2028 and 2029. A phased schedule can support revenue visibility over several reporting periods, but it also exposes the contractor to changes in labour costs, materials, site conditions and certification timing. The amount earned in any one quarter will depend on actual work performed and the terms for progress billing. An announced start date does not, on its own, prove that every site activity has commenced.
