Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2026 – Infomina has secured a broader mandate to distribute and support Broadcom’s mainframe software across 12 Asia-Pacific markets, extending a long-running partnership into Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and India. The appointment adds four markets to eight already covered: Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Japan. For the Malaysian technology group, the opportunity is larger regional reach rather than a disclosed new contract value.
The mandate allows Infomina to distribute the software and provide related support and services. Broadcom’s mainframe portfolio spans data management, application development, infrastructure, automation, cybersecurity and artificial-intelligence functions used by enterprises with critical computing environments. Such clients often value continuity, integration and service capability as much as the software licence itself. Infomina’s ability to win and retain business will therefore depend on local customer relationships and technical delivery, not only on the geographic breadth of its authorisation.
