Kuala Lumpur, 12 October 2026 – IJM Corporation has secured a RM1.23 billion contract to build semiconductor manufacturing facilities for AT&S Malaysia at Kulim Hi-Tech Park in Kedah, strengthening the construction group’s exposure to technically demanding industrial projects. The award lifts IJM Construction’s outstanding order book to RM10.6 billion.

IJM Construction accepted a letter of award covering the design and construction of the facilities. The scope includes a four-storey production building, a three-storey central utility building and a single-storey wastewater-treatment facility. Work will span design development, procurement, construction, testing and commissioning, including cleanrooms, mechanical and electrical systems and process utilities.
