Kuala Lumpur, 24 September 2026 – ICT Zone Asia Berhad reported a 21.9% rise in profit attributable to shareholders to RM8.74 million for the six months ended 31 July 2026, even as a surge in lower-margin hardware and software trading changed the shape of its earnings. Revenue climbed 85.4% to RM172.26 million, making growth in sales far faster than growth in profit.

The comparison captures the central investor question in the ACE Market company’s latest results. Trading revenue rose 154.6% to RM115.17 million, while the core technology-financing business grew 24.0% to RM54.82 million. Cloud solutions and services contributed RM2.13 million. The larger trading contribution helped lift turnover, but the group’s blended first-half gross margin fell to 11.55% from 19.73% a year earlier.
