Kuala Lumpur, 24 September 2026 – HE Group Berhad has secured an electrical-works subcontract worth about RM124 million for a data centre in Johor, giving its wholly owned subsidiary Hexatech Engineering Sdn Bhd a substantial new project in Malaysia’s expanding digital-infrastructure market.

The award covers the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of the facility’s main electrical works. HE Group disclosed the contract in a Bursa Malaysia announcement after Hexatech received it late the previous evening. The contracting party is an engineering, procurement and construction management company; the data-centre developer and ultimate operator were not identified in the company’s public statement.
