Kuala Lumpur, 29 September 2026 – Hartanah Kenyalang Berhad returned to quarterly profitability as work on a major Sarawak project lifted construction revenue, giving investors a clearer view of how its enlarged contract pipeline is translating into earnings. The ACE Market contractor reported RM49.5 million in revenue for the quarter ended 31 July 2026, up 93.4% from a year earlier, while profit before tax reached RM4.2 million against a RM1.7 million loss previously.

The turnaround extended below the tax line. Profit after tax was RM3.0 million, compared with a RM1.7 million loss in the corresponding quarter. Gross profit increased to RM7.1 million from RM2.4 million, taking gross margin to 14.3% from 9.4%. Management attributed much of the improvement to progress on the Stadium Sarawak project, although higher staff, legal and professional costs offset part of the benefit.
