Hartalega shares hit decade-low after disappointing quarterly results

Last updated on August 23, 2025

KUALA LUMPUR: Hartalega Holdings Bhd’s shares slumped to their lowest level in over 10 years as investors reacted to a weaker-than-expected quarterly performance, prompting analysts to downgrade their forecasts.

The counter dropped nearly 7% to RM1.23 β€” its lowest since December 2014 β€” shortly after the market opened, before recovering slightly to RM1.26 at 9.10am, with almost six million shares traded. At the last traded price, Hartalega’s market capitalisation stood at about RM4 billion.
