Bengaluru, India, 4 November 2026 – EloElo Group, the parent of microdrama platform Story TV, has raised USD 80 million in a funding round led by Hornbill Capital and NBCUniversal, the company said on 4 November. The financing brings its cumulative capital raised to USD 130 million, including the latest round, as it plans more original content, international expansion and investment in AI creative tools.

For Asian entertainment investors, the deal connects short-form storytelling with technology intended to support content production and distribution. Funding provides resources to pursue that strategy, not evidence that international expansion has already succeeded. A separately reported USD 500 million valuation came from a person with direct knowledge, rather than a company-confirmed valuation in the selected announcement.
