Kuala Lumpur, 24 September 2026 – Eco World Development Group has reported more than RM5 billion in sales for the first time after a major industrial-land transaction lifted its financial-year tally beyond management’s RM4 billion target. The milestone highlights demand for industrial sites linked to Malaysia’s data-centre buildout, but investors should distinguish signed sales from revenue and profit recognised over future periods.
The developer recorded RM4.05 billion in sales during the ten months ended 31 August 2026. A subsequent RM1.01 billion sale of 221.665 acres at Eco Business Park VII to Tera Data Centers, signed on 22 September, pushed the reported total beyond RM5 billion. The group’s financial year ends on 31 October. The sale is strategically important both for its size and for the type of buyer, yet it does not mean the full value has already entered the current year’s income statement.
