Kuala Lumpur, 8 June 2026 – Digital Realty has officially launched its Malaysia platform, marking a major step in the global data centre operator’s Asia-Pacific expansion as Malaysia strengthens its position as a regional hub for artificial intelligence, cloud services and digital connectivity.
The company plans to develop and scale its Malaysian data centre capacity to about 32 megawatts, anchored by a multi-site campus in Cyberjaya. The platform will integrate Malaysia into Digital Realty’s global network of more than 300 data centres across over 30 countries, allowing enterprises, cloud providers and digital businesses to deploy AI and data-intensive workloads across a more connected infrastructure base.
