KUALA LUMPUR, 7 November 2025 — CUCKOO International (MAL) Berhad (KLSE:CKI) has opened its first-ever Cash-and-Carry CUCKOO Brandshop at IOI Mall Damansara, marking a significant milestone in its omni-channel expansion strategy and reaffirming its commitment to accessible wellness innovation for Malaysian households.
The new Brandshop represents part of a RM5 million investment plan to open 10 outlets nationwide, two more by the end of 2025 and seven in 2026, strengthening the company’s retail distribution network and customer engagement experience.
“The launch of this first Cash-and-Carry CUCKOO Brandshop is a decisive move to accelerate our omni-channel presence and welcome an even larger segment of Malaysians into the CUCKOO family,” said CUCKOO Malaysia Non-Independent Executive Director and CEO, KC Hoe (Hoe Kian Choon).
“It is a powerful affirmation of our mission to make wellness accessible and affordable for all, empowering more Malaysians to be #SAMASAMAHealthier.”

Expanding Malaysia’s Wellness Retail Ecosystem
The 1,023 sq. ft. Brandshop introduces a hybrid retail concept that combines cash-and-carry convenience with an immersive experience centre. The store allows customers to directly purchase smaller items such as rice cookers, shower heads, and cookware, while also exploring CUCKOO’s full range of Smart Healthy Home solutions, including water and air purifiers, mattresses, massage chairs, and air conditioners.
Designed with a modern minimalist aesthetic and warm woody tones, the Brandshop reflects CUCKOO’s focus on creating inviting, consumer-centric spaces that integrate lifestyle experience with retail efficiency.
This physical expansion complements CUCKOO Malaysia’s e-commerce growth, which recorded an over 1,714% revenue surge in small-ticket items as of Q3FY2025, supported by the company’s growing product lineup, from 17 SKUs in 2024 to 37 SKUs this year.
Driving Growth Through Product Diversification and Innovation
CUCKOO Malaysia continues to broaden its portfolio under its Healthy Home Creator strategy, venturing beyond water and air solutions into broader lifestyle wellness categories.
Recent additions to its product lineup include:
- CUCKOO CR-0685F Multi-Cooker, offering multi-mode functionality for modern kitchens.
- CUCKOO AquaFlex Filtered Shower Head, featuring a three-mode spray system with advanced anti-bacterial filtration.
- CUCKOO X Color King Healthy Cookware Series, a collaboration with local brand Color King.
- CUCKOO HUGZ Mattress in a Box, the company’s first e-commerce-exclusive latex mattress.
These innovations align with CUCKOO Malaysia’s long-term ambition to position itself as Malaysia’s leading total home wellness provider, leveraging design, technology, and sustainability to deliver everyday health solutions.
Omni-Channel Integration and Consumer Engagement
The launch also coincides with CUCKOO Malaysia’s 11th Anniversary, alongside a nationwide CUCKOO x TikTok Shop Super Brand Day campaign (6–9 November 2025). While promotional elements featured discounts and digital activations, the larger purpose was to bridge online and offline retail engagement, highlighting CUCKOO’s data-driven approach to customer interaction.

Analysts note that CUCKOO’s move to integrate physical retail and e-commerce could set a new standard in Malaysia’s small appliance industry, combining experiential retail with digital scalability in response to shifting consumer habits.
