New York, 4 August 2026 – Citigroup is preparing an approximately US$2 billion debt package to support KKR’s acquisition of medical-device manufacturer Integer Holdings, offering a fresh test of investor demand for large leveraged buyouts in the healthcare sector.

The financing is expected to help fund KKR’s agreement to take Integer private in a transaction valued at approximately US$5.7 billion, including debt. Citigroup’s role places the bank at the centre of a significant loan syndication as private equity firms return to larger acquisitions after periods of elevated borrowing costs and selective credit-market demand.
