Hong Kong, 7 August 2026 – Hong Kong’s data centre market is entering a stronger pricing cycle as Chinese artificial intelligence companies compete for facilities capable of supporting increasingly power-intensive computing workloads.
Demand is shifting towards high-density infrastructure designed for AI inference, cloud platforms and advanced enterprise applications. While Hong Kong has an established network of data centres, much of its existing capacity was developed for conventional servers rather than the significantly higher power and cooling requirements of modern AI systems.
