Petaling Jaya, 1 October 2025 – Censof Holdings Berhad, through its wholly owned subsidiary Century Software (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, has secured a RM2.78 million contract from Lembaga Getah Malaysia (LGM) for the subscription of its cloud-based Government Resource Planning (GRP) system. The deal, valued at RM2,775,600, will run for five years and six months from 1 October 2025 to 31 March 2031.

The engagement underscores LGM’s continued confidence in Century Software’s digital solutions, particularly in enhancing public sector financial management. The GRP system will deliver advanced capabilities in accounting, compliance, reporting, and automation, aimed at improving efficiency, accountability, and regulatory compliance within LGM’s operations.

En. Mohd Faiz Alias, Chief Executive Officer of Century Software, said the award is a significant endorsement of the company’s expertise: “This contract demonstrates the continued demand for our solutions in the government sector and reflects our ability to deliver mission-critical platforms that enable greater accountability, transparency, and digital resilience. It also aligns with Censof’s broader strategy of driving AI-enabled, cloud-based solutions across Malaysia’s public institutions.”

This new award builds on Century Software’s track record as a leading provider of financial management platforms for Malaysia’s government agencies. The Group’s solutions are designed to modernize legacy systems, support digital transformation initiatives, and facilitate better resource allocation in line with national governance reforms.

Investor Insights for Asia

For investors, this contract illustrates three critical points. First, the Malaysian government’s push for digital transformation in public finance continues to open opportunities for technology providers like Censof. The long-term duration of the deal (over five years) provides predictable recurring revenue, strengthening earnings visibility.

Second, the emphasis on AI-enabled and cloud-based platforms signals a shift toward modernized infrastructure in government resource planning. Companies that can deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions stand to gain from this trend—not just in Malaysia but across ASEAN public institutions facing similar digitalization pressures.

Third, this win reinforces the relevance of mid-cap tech firms in Malaysia’s evolving technology ecosystem. While global providers compete in the space, homegrown firms like Censof retain an advantage through deep domain knowledge, government trust, and regulatory familiarity. For investors seeking exposure to Malaysia’s public sector digitalisation, such firms may represent niche but strategic opportunities.
