Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 12 August 2026 – Bursa Malaysia entered Wednesday’s session with the benchmark index caught between policy support and global inflation risk after extending its decline to four consecutive trading days.
The FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI reversed earlier intraday gains in the previous session and spent most of the day in negative territory. Market volume eased to 3.44 billion shares from 3.50 billion, while 581 decliners outnumbered 562 advancers, indicating softer breadth beyond the benchmark.
