Bank Negara’s International Reserves Rise To US$132.6 Billion At End-June

Kuala Lumpur, 7 July 2026 – Bank Negara Malaysia’s international reserves rose to US$132.6 billion as at 30 June 2026, strengthening Malaysia’s external buffer at a time when currency markets remain sensitive to global interest-rate expectations and capital flows.

The latest reserves position marks an increase from US$130.5 billion as at 15 June 2026 and US$130.6 billion at the end of May, indicating a firmer reserve base heading into the second half of the year.
