Kuala Lumpur, 3 November 2026 – Yinson GreenTech has signed a participation agreement with Saxon Renewables to include eligible electric-vehicle activities in EVolve, a carbon programme designed to bring multiple charging infrastructures under a single project. The partnership aims to generate verified carbon credits from Yinson GreenTech’s EV-related operations, linking the expansion of electric mobility with Malaysia’s developing carbon-market activity.

EVolve is registered under Verra’s Verified Carbon Standard as Project 5416. The programme allows separate charging networks to be grouped within one project, subject to verification requirements. Yinson GreenTech and Saxon Renewables said their work will focus on integrating eligible infrastructure, strengthening operational data and monitoring for independent verification, and progressing towards possible credit issuance.
