Kuala Lumpur, 2 November 2026 – WM Senibong Berhad said its wholly owned subsidiary, WM Senibong Capital Berhad, retains an AA-IS rating with a stable outlook for its Islamic Medium-Term Notes programme of up to RM1.0 billion. The rating action was published on 23 October, while the company’s press release arrived today, and the assessment balances a sizeable development pipeline against higher debt following land and infrastructure spending.
The rating applies to the subsidiary’s Sukuk Wakalah programme, with WM Senibong as the obligor. It is not a new sukuk issuance or a fresh RM1.0 billion cash raise: the programme’s ceiling should not be read as its current outstanding balance. The rating notice says the assessment reflects the property group’s Johor track record, project execution, sales and landbank, while also noting the effect of increased leverage.
