Mountain View, 29 October 2026 – Alphabet Inc., the parent company of Google, reported third-quarter revenue of US$127.6 billion, up 25% from a year earlier but below market expectations. Google Search and other advertising revenue rose 12% to US$63.3 billion, while net income fell to US$26.2 billion and earnings per share came in at US$2.12 after an US$8.7 billion loss on equity investments. The figures have sharpened investor scrutiny of whether artificial-intelligence features are strengthening Google’s search franchise or beginning to divert value from it.

The confirmed numbers point to a transition that companies building digital channels, data infrastructure and online services will need to monitor closely.
