Kuantan, 29 October 2026 – Asian Pac Holdings Berhad is expanding into Malaysia’s East Coast property market through a proposed RM281.3 million retail and lifestyle development in KotaSAS, Kuantan, featuring the township’s first shopping mall and a complementary lifestyle shoplot precinct. The Bursa Malaysia-listed property group is undertaking the project through its subsidiary, Everest Pioneer Sdn Bhd, which has entered into a sale and purchase agreement and a joint development agreement with KotaSAS Sdn Bhd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tanah Makmur Berhad.

For investors and businesses in Pahang, the development represents a new commercial investment in Kuantan’s emerging administrative and business district. Located within walking distance of the planned KotaSAS East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) Station, the project aims to capitalise on future rail connectivity, an established residential population and the township’s growing institutional presence. The developers have also indicated that the broader development opportunity could potentially reach RM2 billion in future gross development value (GDV), although this remains an indicative longer-term possibility rather than a confirmed project pipeline.
