Petaling Jaya, 22 October 2026 – Westports Holdings Berhad reported a 26.4% increase in net profit to RM342.56 million for the third quarter ended 30 September 2026, compared with RM271.11 million a year earlier. Revenue rose 42.1% to RM1.07 billion from RM751.99 million, supported by higher port tariffs, stronger value-added services and construction income.
The result matters to Malaysian and regional investors because Westports is a major transhipment and gateway hub serving trade routes across Asia. The earnings figures are confirmed in the company’s quarterly filing, but revenue growth includes construction activity that does not represent recurring port operations. Investors therefore need to separate tariff-led operating improvement from project-related income.
