Sea Plans Monee Listing and New Enterprise AI Platform

Sea is considering a public listing for Monee while launching Sea Cloud, creating new valuation possibilities alongside regulatory and execution risks.

Singapore, 20 October 2026 – Sea Limited plans to pursue a public listing for digital financial-services arm Monee and launch an AI-first enterprise platform called Sea Cloud, according to an internal employee memorandum from founder Forrest Li. The memo said Monee operates across seven Asian and Latin American markets and offers wallets, payment processing, credit and banking services. No exchange, timetable, valuation or offer size was disclosed.

For Asian investors, the plan could separate the value of Sea’s financial-services operations from its gaming and e-commerce businesses while opening another route to capital. It remains an internal plan rather than a filed offering. A listing requires board decisions, regulatory work, audited disclosures and market acceptance, so investors should not price the transaction as completed or assume proceeds before formal documents are available.
