Hong Kong, 13 October 2026 – Hong Kong’s securities regulator has directed the stock exchange to suspend trading in Sichuan Baicha Baidao Industrial Co Ltd while it investigates suspected syndicates involved in manipulating initial public offerings. The action is precautionary and does not constitute a final finding of wrongdoing by the company or any market participant.

Baicha, a mainland Chinese tea-drink chain commonly known as Chabaidao, has been listed on the main board since 23 April 2024. Trading was halted before the market opened. The regulator said suspension was necessary or expedient to maintain an orderly and fair market and protect investors while the investigation continues.
