Singapore, 12 October 2026 – Singapore is emerging as a battleground over one of cryptocurrency’s fastest-growing products, as booming demand for perpetual futures pits decentralised trading platforms against the city-state’s tightly regulated financial-market model.

Known widely as “perps”, perpetual futures allow traders to take leveraged positions on cryptocurrencies and other assets without the expiry dates found in conventional futures contracts.
