Kuala Lumpur, 30 September 2026 – UWC ended its July 2026 financial year with a record fourth quarter as recovering semiconductor demand lifted activity across its engineering businesses. Revenue for the quarter rose 71.1% from a year earlier to RM186.2 million, while profit before tax reached RM43.7 million. The company said quarterly profit after tax also hit a high, rising 153.5%, but investors should weigh the strength of that exit quarter against the costs and currency effects visible across the full year.

For the financial year ended 31 July 2026, revenue grew 54.0% to RM594.9 million. Profit before tax increased 144.4% to RM109.8 million and profit after tax rose 139.2% to RM94.6 million. UWC attributed the gains to stronger customer demand in front-end and back-end semiconductor segments and the progressive ramp-up of secured projects. The mix suggests the recovery was not confined to one short-lived order, although the release does not provide customer-level volumes or future programme commitments.
