Petaling Jaya, 29 September 2026 – GUH Holdings Bhd has received the final instalment for the compulsory disposal of industrial land in Suzhou, China, completing an agreed compensation package of 195 million yuan, or approximately RM114.9 million at the reported conversion. The latest receipt is a closing payment, not a fresh 195 million yuan award. That distinction is central to how the transaction should be reflected in an investor’s assessment of cash and earnings.

The final tranche was about 30 million yuan, with a more precise reported figure of 30.001 million yuan. The agreement, reached in February 2025 with the relevant Suzhou authorities, covered 53,324.56 square metres of industrial land. Earlier instalments had already been received. Completion of the payment schedule reduces collection risk on the disposal, although investors still need to see how the proceeds appear in GUH’s accounts and how management intends to deploy them.
