Zurich, 22 September 2026 – Swiss sportswear company On has set a target of at least CHF5.6 billion in sales by 2029 and authorised the repurchase of up to US$1 billion of Class A shares by the end of that year. The plan pairs a higher long-term growth ambition with a potential return of capital. Crucially, the buyback is an authorisation ceiling, not a promise that the full amount will be spent.
The company expects high-teens annual sales growth in constant currency over the planning period. Constant-currency figures remove exchange-rate movements from the comparison, so they should not be read as a forecast of reported Swiss-franc revenue growth in every year. On’s 2026 guidance calls for low-20% constant-currency sales growth, indicating management expects the pace to moderate as the business becomes larger.
